Join me in my beautiful workshop in the Somerset countryside for some intimate, face to face tuition and enjoy some pure guitar indulgence. Accommodation is available and you will receive a 10% discount on both courses if you bring a friend with you.

Learn to build a guitar in Frome

1 Day Guitar Setup (£200pp)

On this course you will learn how to:

  • Adjust your truss rod

  • Cut nut slots and shape the nut

  • Adjust your action

  • Set your intonation

  • Configure pickup heights

  • Cut a nut from scratch

Build a Guitar Lessons Frome

2 Day Level/Crown/Polish (£400pp)

On this course you will learn how to:

  • Clean and restore your fretboard

  • Level/crown/polish your frets

  • Complete a full setup

Build & Design a Guitar Frome

3 Day Guitar Refret (£600pp)

On this course you will learn how to:

  • Remove your old frets

  • Re-level your fretboard (maple excluded)

  • Clean and restore your fretboard

  • Level/bevel/fret-end file/crown/polish your frets

  • Complete a full setup

Guitar Neck Building Frome

3/4 Day Neck Building

(£600-£800 pp)

On this course you will learn how to:

  • Rough cut your neck

  • Install a truss rod and carbon fiber rods (optional)

  • Cut fret slots and glue on fretboard

  • Install inlays

  • Carve your neck

  • Install frets/complete fretwork

  • Complete a full setup

Guitar Rewiring Frome

1 1/2 Day Rewiring

On this course you will learn how to:

  • Rewire your guitar

  • Swap out pickups (optional)

  • Complete a full setup

  • Cut a nut from scratch
